-It should be balanced.

-Angle can change
3. Collect information(data).
-Know the time.
-Get background information.
4. Conduct the interviews.
-Interview 3 people.
-Have 3 questions.
-Open ending questions. (good start words: how, why / bad ones: do you, are you) soundbite(piece of audio that can stand on its own).
5. Shoot your reporter stand up.
-The one time the reporter shows up on the camera.
-Stand up should appear in the middle.
-Used as transition.
6. Organize your Soundbites.
-Choose order and location of interviews in story
-Choose best soundbite(s) from each individual interview

7. Write segues(transitions) in your story.
-Put information between each soundbites
8. Write the "Ins" and "Outs" of your story.
-It helps anchors write up an intro or closing for the story.
10. Collect B-roll to add to your story (throughout steps 4-9)
-Extra footage to put in story to fill space as a background pictures to some parts
-Get sound of B-roll even if not all will be used

*Steps 4-8 in your story are called the A-role: all the audio in the story.
A-roll is more important. Focus on getting it first. B-roll comes second.
